On the 19th and 20th of May 2016 was organized the first of the biannual meetings of EADC (the European Alzheimer Disease Consortium) – a network of over 50 European centres of clinical and biomedical research excellence working in the field of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The meeting was attended by 50 specialists in AD from 31 centers from 14 EU countries.

During this event the representatives of AAIF (Prof. Luiza Spiru and Dr. Mircea Marzan) presented the opportunities provided by the AAL projects (MyMate included) for the medical end-user organizations acting in the field of AD plus the support that patients and their carers can benefit from.

The presentation was received with great interest, many specialists not being actually aware about the current developments and future perspectives in this innovative area.
