MyMate project faces the start of the validation phase in which the first cohort of primary, secondary and tertiary users located in Spain will have to test the tool in real conditions. During the previous weeks, we worked on the formation of the groups. Last week, in the retirement centre “Les Boqueres” the secondary and tertiary users held a meeting in order to organise the matching between primary and secondary users, taking into account the interests and wishes of each of the users involved in MyMate. The week started with some of the secondary users (volunteers) having already started to carry out their missions, the impressions got by the primary users seemed to be positive. The photo above shows a volunteer going through a mission with her partner, who was previously assigned by MyMate´s experts. The mission consisted on having a coffee while talking in Spanish since, despite being both Norwegian, our primary user enjoys the fact of learning Spanish.
